The Presidency is inviting unemployed South African graduates and postgraduates under the age of 35, holding a tertiary qualification in the specified fields, to apply for its Graduate Internship Programme for 2025. - Stipend:
- R7,450.63 per month (National Diploma, Degree, Honours)
- R8,987.83 per month (Master’s Degree)
- Duration: 24-month contract
- Locations: Pretoria and Cape Town
- Applicants must be unemployed South African citizens.
- Applicants must be younger than 35 years of age.
- Applicants should hold an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification (NQF level 6 or higher) in one of the specified fields of study.
- Applicants must not have previously participated in any internship programme.
Applicants must have qualifications in one of the following areas:
- Social Sciences: Sociology, Political Studies, Development Studies (with Research as a major subject).
- Economics and Research: Economics, Honours/Master’s in Economics, Development Studies, Statistics, or Town and Regional Planning.
- Media and Communications: Media Studies, Communications, Public Relations, Creative Writing, Journalism (with a focus on digital communication and social media).
- Public and Business Administration: Public Administration, Business Administration, Business Management, Public Management, or Records Management.
- Finance and Auditing: Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Management, Risk Management, Auditing, Internal Auditing.
- Law: Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
- Technology and Engineering: Information Technology (Software Development, Information Systems, Technical Applications, Web and Application Development), Industrial Engineering.
- Environment, Safety, and Security: Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental/Risk Management, Security Management.
- Other: Supply Chain Management, International Relations, Architecture.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a professional setting.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
