Responsibilities

Collaborate with experienced professionals to support sugarcane farming operations, including planting, harvesting, and crop management practices.
Assist in conducting research and collecting data on agricultural best practices, market trends, and industry regulations.
Participate in advocacy campaigns and community outreach activities aimed at promoting the interests of sugarcane growers and fostering sustainable development.
Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and environmental sustainability within the sugarcane industry.
Engage with stakeholders, including farmers, industry partners, government agencies, and community organizations, to build networks and promote collaboration.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program in agriculture, agronomy, environmental science, or a related field.
Genuine interest in agriculture, sustainability, and rural development issues.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel and work in rural areas as needed.
