RCL Foods is seeking motivated individuals for our Procurement Internship program. This internship offers hands-on experience in the dynamic field of procurement within the food industry. As a Procurement Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable insight into sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, negotiation techniques, and supply chain optimization.
- Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential suppliers.
- Support procurement processes, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement and business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance data to inform decision-making.
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements within the procurement function.
- Participate in supplier visits, audits, and performance reviews.
- Assist with administrative tasks and documentation management as needed.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience in a fast-paced procurement environment.
